Girl Scout Mission Statement
"Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place."
Serving over 3,000 Girl Scouts in Southeast Iowa and Western Illinois. We are proud to have more than 600 adult volunteers dedicated to serving our girls. Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5-17 and all adults.
As a member of Shining Trail Council, girls have the opportunity to explore in so many ways.
In addition to council and service unit activities, all girls may participate in service projects-ways to use their skills and talents to benefit others, Girl Scout events-girls can participate in trips, tours, play days, camping weekends and troop activities.
The Cullen Girl Scout Center, located in the Flint Ridge Business Park in West Burlington, Iowa, is home to 12 staff members and Your Girl Scout Shop. Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Summer Hours: (Memorial Day - Labor Day) 8-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Fridays from 8-11:30 a.m.
Two conference rooms are available as meeting space for community groups. Contact the Cullen Girl Scout Center for availability.
Your Girl Scout Shop is also open 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. the 1st Saturday of February, March, April, May, October, November and December.
