Camp L-Kee-Ta is a 150-acre outdoor education site owned and operated by Shining Trail Council. At Camp L-Kee-Ta, we are committed to providing campers with a positive, life-enriching outdoor experience in a caring and safe environment. Click on facility photos for details.

Camp L-Kee-Ta is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. Legally and nationally recognized standards of the camping industry measure every facet of our operation. Upon successful visitation every three years, this accreditation may be awarded. Camp L-Kee-Ta has voluntarily submitted to this independent appraisal done by camping experts and has earned this mark of distinction for 30 years.

  Resident Camp
Offered in June, July and August, resident camp provides girls the opportunity of a lifetime. Programs are available for individual girls of all ages as well as families. There are a variety of housing options: log cabins, tree houses, platform tents, huts, or the Troop House. Girls may choose from a variety of three- and six-day programs, but all resident campers enjoy use of the camp swimming pool and our horses. Camp brochures are distributed in February, and registration begins in March.
