Adult Recognition Forms

This is the last year for Shining Trail Council Recognitions. We all like to know that others appreciate the little things we do!

Showing appreciation for one another is a wonderful way to show respect and it helps to build mutual commitment. Recognitions are tangible reminders of rewarding relationships between people and Girl Scouting. The GSUSA adult recognitions system is a valuable component of every council’s volunteer support system. It offers tangible, visible awards with criteria and requirements, making it a special recognition for the recipient.

WHO DESERVES RECOGNITION? Everyone whose efforts are focused on making the Girl Scout experience good for girls, especially anyone whose service goes above and beyond, who exceeds expectations, whose contributions are significant, who is a model of outstanding performance. Do you know someone like this? Are you looking for a way to show them appreciation and give them recognition for their efforts?

The following are council presented and board approved recognitions and their criteria. Recognitions are presented at the Annual Meeting, April 17, 2007. Nominations and letters must be received by the Volunteer Development Manager no later than February 15, 2007.
